Anti-Sexual Harassment and Gender Based Violence Policy

Levitate Design Studio is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees, contractors, and stakeholders. This policy is intended to prevent and address incidents of sexual harassment and gender-based violence in the workplace and to promote a culture of zero tolerance towards such behavior.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, interns, and volunteers of Levitate Design Studio, as well as clients, partners, and suppliers who interact with Levitate Design Studio employees.

Definition

Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome sexual advance, request for sexual favors, or other verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. Gender-based violence includes any act or threat of physical, sexual, or psychological harm, or any other form of abuse, directed towards a person based on their gender or gender identity.

Policy

  1. Levitate Design Studio will not tolerate any form of sexual harassment or gender-based violence in the workplace.
  2. Employees, contractors, and stakeholders who experience or witness any incident of sexual harassment or gender-based violence are encouraged to report it immediately to the HR department.
  3. Levitate Design Studio will investigate all complaints of sexual harassment or gender-based violence promptly, impartially, and confidentially.
  4. Any employee, contractor, or stakeholder found to have engaged in sexual harassment or gender-based violence will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
  5. Levitate Design Studio will provide training and awareness sessions on sexual harassment and gender-based violence to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders, and will maintain a culture of zero tolerance towards such behavior.
  6. Levitate Design Studio will make reasonable efforts to ensure that employees, contractors, and stakeholders are not subject to retaliation or adverse treatment for reporting or disclosing incidents of sexual harassment or gender-based violence.
  7. Levitate Design Studio will regularly review and update this policy to ensure that it remains effective and reflective of current best practices.
