Bringing Cool Back Dettol, a brand well known for helping families combat germs and bacteria with its wide range of products. The Dettol Cool Anti-Bacterial Soap combines Dettol’s trusted germ protection with a burst of crispy menthol to protect and refresh. We were tasked with running a collaborative campaign to announce its new Nigerian brand ambassador, Odion Ighalo.

Problem Solved

The timing for this commercial came up at the peak of COVID-19 when most cities were on indefinite lockdown. Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, Ighalo had to stay put in London. In collaboration with an agency in the United Kingdon, the brand shoot was efficiently done, the team at South Africa swiftly handled post-production and the marketing, communications bit was handled by the Nigerian team. We sure kicked COVID in the butt and pulled a remarkably successful campaign. The campaign prompted the signing of The Open Defecation-Free Nigeria Bill.
